| Craig Hill, owner of Top of the Hill, grew up with cars in his blood. Although owning a shop was always a goal, he made the move much earlier than expected. At the age of 21, he decided to quit working for someone else and opened up his own shop in Dublin. Three moves and more than 20 years later, Top of the Hill has grown to fill a 10,000+ square foot facility in Livermore.

Ted Yamashiro, our engine shop manager, joined the team in 2003 when Techcraft Machine Shop of Redwood City merged operations with Top of the Hill at our new facility in Livermore. With more than 30 years experience in engine machining, Ted is an integral part of our machine shop and engine building operations.
